Vorabpauschale

The Vorabpauschale is a special tax mechanism for investment funds in Germany. It was introduced so that a portion of the income from certain funds could be taxed even without the sale of shares.

In practice, this mechanism most often applies to long-term investors in ETF funds. The amount of tax depends on several factors, including the base interest rate and the value of the fund.
